In October 2026, public buyers in Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Spain, UK, Finland published 22,111 tenders in our ten categories, +9% on the month before and +10% against the 12-month average.
The busiest market was construction in Germany, with 2,888 tenders.
The biggest rise against its 12-month average was cleaning, waste and environmental services in Poland: 1,126 tenders, +112%.
The biggest fall was software packages and information systems in France: 52 tenders, -19%.
Competition was thinnest in medical equipment and pharmaceuticals in Poland (76% single-bid), IT services in Poland (69% single-bid), medical equipment and pharmaceuticals in Spain (67% single-bid), over the last 12 months of award notices.
